Storm Wrap Up

The storm mostly missed us. At least where we are, about two miles southeast of Mineral Bluff, the wind never got very high. There were a lot of leaves and small branches blown down, but no trees. In all, we had about seven inches of rain, with most of it coming as drizzle or a fairly gentle rain. It drizzled all day yesterday, but didn’t add much to the rain total. To my surprise, Cutcane Creek didn’t flood. I’m not sure about Long Creek. We did have a five hour power outage last night, which I think was pretty widespread.
