Some of our redbuds started to come this morning. Nothing from the sarvis yet. Those awful Bradford pears have been in bloom for a week or so, and the forsythia likewise.
One of our neighbors reports an unusually large number of Scarlet Tanagers at her feeders. More than one would be unusual here. We usually have a nesting pair, but that’s pretty much it for spring Tanager sightings. I don’t have feeders because feeders attract rodents, and rodents attract snakes. So I have to rely on reports from those folks who do.
