Signs Of Spring: The Crabapples Are In Leaf

The native crabapples are in leaf. They are the only trees or shrubs in leaf, at least at our place.

The redbuds look wonderful, but the sarvis hasn’t come yet. It’s possible they will all be in bloom at the same time, something that happens only once in a while.

We had an inch of rain last night, which we sorely needed. It is about 40 at 9:00 AM, and there’s a chilly breeze.
