It’s been rainy the past few days, and the temperatures have been a little cooler. It was 47 on the porch this morning and the forecast high is 50. It still feels like it is trying to be spring, and we heard the tree frogs for the first time a few days ago.
I think we’ve had about four inches of rain, which we needed. And it mostly came as a drizzle, not a hard rain, so I think most of it probably soaked in well.
Two of our day lilies poked their heads up a few days ago, and were promptly eaten by the deer. Anything green is at risk from the deer at this time of year. They are hungry for some green stuff after a winter without it.
