Leaf Report

The weather has been really delightful lately, with morning lows around 50 and afternoon highs around 70.

But there isn’t much leaf color in the woods. As I look across at Dividing Ridge, I see a few more rusty reds than I saw last week, but I’m beginning to think this will be an uninspiring fall in terms of leaf color. I usually say the third week of October is the peak, so we still have another week to get there. I hope we do, but as I say, I’m skeptical.
