I apologize to my regular readers for not keeping up with the progress of spring. The latest WordPress update created some technical difficulties for me, which I think I’ve resolved.
The laurel is fading in the sunny places, but is still in beautiful bloom in some of the shady spots. That’s laurel, not mountain laurel. That’s a local name for Rhododendron. I haven’t been around the creeks, but I haven’t seen any Rhododendron in bloom yet. Everything seems to be fully in leaf, and obviously, we’ve had a whole lot of rain.
