Laurel Is Fading

I’m late posting about the laurel, but it has been in beautiful bloom and is now fading. I haven’t seen any of the rhododendron – “mountain laurel” – in bloom, but it will come next, probably in a couple of weeks. Especially around the creeks. The blackberries do not seem to be having a good year. It may be a bit wet for them.
