Breezy Fall Days

The last couple of days have been a lot cooler, and the breeze has been so stiff that we’ve not been on the porch much. Today was a bit softer, starting at about 39 and ending up in the middle 70s, with a bit less breeze. In other words, classic fall weather. There’s no real leaf fall, another good reason to come up. There’s not much leaf color. We’ve got some rusty dogwoods and some nice yellow leaves on the sourwood. Across on Dividing Ridge, it’s mostly green, with a few rusty colors. You can tell it’s fall, but no great happiness in terms of the leaves.
