Beautiful Fall Weather

We’ve had a string of cool, clear days. This morning it was 52 on the porch, with a forecast high of 76. The katydids are fading, but there are some still singing at night. I’m starting to see some signs of tree color on Dividing Ridge, and some of the dogwoods are a beautiful red. I’m not sure whether that’s an effect of the dry weather we had earlier, or whether they are just beginning to turn.
