TVA Testing New Siren System Today

The TVA is supposed to be testing their new siren system today between 10:00 – 2:00. There may be more than one test. Expect a 3 -5 minute siren. There has been an alert in place for dam releases, but my understanding is that this is a new warning system for use if the dam experiences catastrophic failure – that is, if it breaks.
