The Conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn Is Happening Now

Right outside your window the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is happening now. Jupiter is the big planet directly west and Saturm is the red planet up about 1;00 above Saturn. Hasn’t been this close since 1623.

It’s also the winter solstice, which is, as Alan Sandstrom – my anthropology mentor – never failed to point out, is a “major festival in every culture but ours.”
