Rain Report, Flame Azaleas Are Blooming

We’ve had about a half an inch of rain so far, and it continues to drizzle and rain off and on. It’s very welcome, as it was getting a bit too dry, which raises unhappy memories of last year. It appears that we lost five of the six flame azaleas that we planted to the drought, despite our efforts to survival water them.

The flame azaleas are blooming, and will probably be in full color for a week or so.
