For the past hour or so, it’s been switching back between rain and snow, sometimes about half rain and half snow. So far, it’s way to wet to stick, but I wouldn’t bet against it tonight when the temperatures are forecast to fall to 22. The weather service says they’re not expecting any accumulation, but that doesn’t necessarily apply to the ridge tops, or to local areas. If there’s one thing you learn living in the mountains, it’s that the weather is very local.

The courthouse just announced they are leaving at 3:00, and that they will be on a two hour delay tomorrow. Schools were out today, which was announced yesterday evening, and certain departments in the courthouse were also closed all day.
