We’re having some of what I like to call “mountain weather.” It’s around 40 on the deck, and the fog has been rolling in since 4:00 PM. An hour later, it’s getting too dark to see very far down through the trees, and it’s beginning to feel like it’s time to make a fire. Most people hate it, but I happen to love it. Maybe that’s why I’ve been here for thirty years, or maybe I’m just wired differently. If you’re up here, maybe take a look outside. It’s my bell.
