The sarvis is having a very good year, as is the redbud. The dogwoods are starting with their green flowers, but will be another two or three weeks. We’ve seen the bat, and the first skink. Many Tiger Swallowtails, the dominant butterfly, a few Hairslips, and one further unidentifiable black swallowtail. Especially beautiful sunsets and sunrises. A hard freeze is predicted Thursday night. Last Thurday, we had the hardest rain out of a thunderstorm that I’ve seen in a long time. Did a lot of damage to the gravel roads. All in all, a wonderful spring so far!
