So, as we old Georgia hands like to say, “No one is safe when the legislature is in session.”
That’s a hoary old adage that was surely confirmed this session, as an unprecedented attack on voting rights took place, including destroying the previous bi-partisan election boards, where each party nominated two candidates from their own party, and a fifth member was then elected, who was usually the county election official, who was of course of the dominant party in the county.
