Leaves Peaking Now

Smart people don’t commit themselves, but I’ll go out on a limb and say I think the leaves peaked today. We’ve bounced back warm, but for some reason there’s actually more color than I expected, given the drought. This weekend will probably not be too late, but if you are here now, take a ride up into Tennessee – colors probably better there – or out through the Cohuttas. Or hike. I was down Skeenah Gap Road to Doublehead Gap this morning, and it was really beautiful.
