Great Color In Southern Part of County

We were out in the woods in the Blue Ridge WMA this morning, and the color was astonishing. I didn’t think it would happen this year. But the hickories are holding on yellow and gold, and the maples have turned yellow and red. It’s the best color I’ve seen in some time. Here near Mineral Bluff, the colors are much less vivid.
