We’re having beautiful fall weather after a little morning rain. It is different in different areas, but the leaves in our area have peaked or are peaking. I’ve noted more color out in the Cohuttas and up in Tennessee. I imagine that the color will fade a bit over the next week, and that the next high wind or rain will bring many of them down. I’ve blown leaves once so far, but I was out of town for a few days. Had I been in town, I probably would have blown them several times by now.
A note for the deer hunters: The mast crop has basically failed throughout north Georgia.
