Here’s a snapshot of the Georgia real estate market, provided by the Georgia Association of Realtors.
“Key indicators for the Georgia housing market for July are in! The market has been hot this summer, with prices continuing to rise and a slight uptick in new listings.
New Listings increased 4.4 percent to 15,708.
Pending Sales were up 6.8 percent to 11,949.
Inventory levels shrank 10 percent to 36,312 units.
The Median Sales Price increased 8.3 percent to $225,900.
Days on Market was down 8 percent to 46 days.
Months Supply of Inventory was down 15 percent to 3 months.”
I don’t have comparable stats for our area at this time, but I imagine that they show a similar trend.
