It started to drizzle where we are – about two miles southeast of Mineral Bluff – at 11:00 AM, and has continued to drizzle, with some sleet off and on. So far, it isn’t freezing on the ground – the temperature here at 1950 feet is just on the freeze – but it is freezing on the decks. Unless it stops drizzling and a wind comes up that evaporates the moisture, tonight will be an evil night on the roads. Going anywhere right now is probably a poor idea, because conditions can change fast, and weather in the mountains is very local.
