First Frost, Wonderful Fall Weather

It was 52 on the porch this morning, and we noticed a moderate frost in the valley. I can’t recall a frost this early in September.

The morning temperature rises as the week goes on, at least according to the forecast. But for the first time in a long while, there is no rain in sight. If you haven’t been up lately, I’d encourage you to come up this week.

The porch temperature was 60 at 12:30 PM, and it’s a bluebird day, with a brisk breeze blowing. I think it topped out at about 76 this afternoon.

I’m still thinking that it looks like an early winter.
