The last few days have been drizzly and mild, classic mountain weather with fog and shifting mists. The temperature was 51 on the porch this morning, and the forecast is for another week of the same. It’s been very beautiful at dusk, from about an hour before sundown to an hour afterwards. We’ve been hearing the peepers for a long time, but for the first time it is beginning to feel as though spring is really here. I’m sure it will bounce back and forth as it always does, but there’s a sense in the air that the ground is waking up, and the season has finally turned.
Tuesday update: The forecast has changed to snow Wednesday night and Thursday, so it’s bouncing back cold faster than expected!
