Dogwoods, Flame Azaleas, Rhododendron

We’ve had some beautiful warm weather this week. It was 80 on the porch this afternoon with a light breeze. There are still some dogwoods in full bloom, but more are probably fading. The flame azalea is nearly all in bloom, and I’ve seen a few rhododendron starting to bloom, on sunny south slopes. The bird lists show a lot of interesting migrants coming through. We’ve seen the male and female Scarlet Tanager and the Black-throated Blue Warbler, along with American Redstarts.
