Dogwood Report & A Little Snow

It was about a degree over the freeze at 7:00 AM, and I don’t think it frosted in the valley below us. Some of the dogwoods are in flower, but I expect the peak is at least a week away. The redbuds, at least where we are, seem to have been hit with the frost at just the wrong time. They started to come, but then stopped. Our crab apples are just starting to bloom.

Around 10:15 it started spitting a little light, pebbly snow. I don’t expect it to amount to much, but it’s a bit unusual for April 9th.
