Dogwood Report

The dogwoods are in process of blooming, but I haven’t seen one in bloom yet. There may be a few this weekend, depending on the rain situation. But I expect next weekend, or even the one after that may be the peak weekends. It’s always hard to tell.

We heard the first Whip-poor-wills yesterday morning.

A larger variety of butterflies has been zipping by, most of them unidentifiable. I’ve seen the first skink. The redbuds are hanging on, longer than usual, it seems. The sarvis is almost gone.
