It’s bounced back cold with a vengeance. Yesterday started about 30, with a chilly wind, and warmed to a toasty 36. Today started off at about 25, but it’s a very beautiful day. Crossing the river on the way to work, the mist was rising up off the water and mixing with the rusty browns of the bluestem. It really brought home to me what a beautiful place this is in the winter. I’m looking forward to the end of deer season, so we can get out on the woods, and have them to ourselves.
When I mentioned the live nativity at the Adventist Church on Forge Mill on December 23rd and 24th, I should have noted that it takes place from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. According to something I read, it takes fifty people to put it on, so it’s quite a production. It’s a drive-through.
