Cherries Come and Gone

Our incredible early spring weather is continuing, with most of the trees in leaf, if not full leaf. The dogwoods are in full bloom, and the native azalea (flame azalea) is just starting. There is a cloud of pollen nearly obscuring the far peaks in the Cohuttas, and the native cherry has bloomed and gone. I imagine it will hit 80 in downtown Blue Ridge today.
