This poster is making the rounds, in part because it has been a long, hard struggle. I can’t remember when the issue of Fannin having a state standard library first emerged, but it has to have been more than 25 years ago. Many of the people who worked on this issue are sadly not here to see it. I believe that it is going to be built in front of the High School, where the Board of Education offices were located. I really never thought I’d see the day.
