A Bit Drier for Now, Tuesday Last Day to Register to Vote

After another very rainy spell, it’s been a bit drier this week. That’s apt to change if the hurricane stays on it’s projected path. September is usually our driest month, but this September was unusually rainy.  The leaves have started to fall, and I’ll probably be blowing leaves for the first time tomorrow, in an attempt to beat the rain. There still isn’t much, if any, color in the woods. The peak of leaf season is usually around the third week of October, but it’s anyone’s guess this year because of all the rain.

Tuesday, October 8, is the last day to register to vote in the midterm elections.
