It’s rainy today (Monday) but Saturday was a beautiful, warm day, with a high around 70. We’ve been seeing Mourning Cloaks (butterflies) for about a week now. That’s my first solid “sign of spring.” The forsythia and Bradford pears are starting to bloom in my neighborhood, and the grass is greening up convincingly in the pasture below. I’m a little less excited about this, but the pollen is starting to be visible on the windshield in the morning. I expect a few more freezes, but spring is definitely on the way.
